Connecting the dots reveals a new image.

For some time we've been gathering sounds in different parts of the world. These field recordings are, for example, street sounds, animal calls, conversations, loudspeaker announcements, machine noises, etc.

The idea is to combine these recordings with pictures from other places and to see how the acoustic background has an influence on the perception of the surroundings.

We've been asking artists from different countries to join the project. We gave them sound recordings and asked them to send us a photo of what they saw while they were hearing it.
